The Wales Cities of Sanctuary Project is managed by Displaced People in Action.

The project aims to strengthen the existing work that members of the Cardiff City of Sanctuary already do and to set up some new projects too.  Project staff will also be developing closer links with the Swansea City of Sanctuary with the aim of Wales becoming the first ever Nation of Sanctuary!

The project employs three staff members in Cardiff:

Mat Salley – Development Worker
The development worker for the project will work to help people seeking sanctuary feel included and supported in Cardiff.  He acts as a link between those seeking sanctuary and other local communities.
