Today we wake up to a UK that has voted to leave the European Union. Some of the campaigning around the EU referendum has involved racist and xenophobic rhetoric towards migrants and displaced people. We at the Wales Cities of Sanctuary projects in Cardiff and Swansea want to reiterate our WELCOME to all refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.

We believe that people should be able to live in all cities free from racism and intolerance. Together we ask you to get involved in our movement to show compassion and friendship. It has never been more important to show our solidarity. #TogetherStronger #RefugeesWelcome
